Observations, no matter how nicely stated, still come across as criticism.

You leave the house and you just know it is going to be a rough day.

It just might actually kill you to smile.

You feel like a freak for no discernible reason at all.

White noise is actually really loud.

Nothing is better than a warm chocolate chip cookie and a glass of milk.

You wonder just what on earth you have gotten yourself into.

Sometimes, all these things are true.

I think it is very possible that you're right. For some reason, these thoughts seem to flock around me during the first part of December - not exactly sure why. Chocolate seems to keep them at bay, but then I feel guilty.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, like a chocolate chip cookie, chewy and packed with chips, to make the world seem like a better place. Well, the only thing better would be two cookies. Anything more is pure piggery.

By the way, S.L., thanks for dropping by my blog, "Things At King's," and mentioning Hugh Conover. It was nice of you to leave a thought there.

very true. very true.
things things often haunt me around this time of year. I suppose its the stress and the fact that we're all so very busy that causes such strange feelings during this time of year.
